The contract comprised construction of embankment of approximately 9.1km long, hydraulic filling work of 17.43million cu.m, reclamation of 432 hectares of land and ground improvement work of 4.26million sq.m.
There were 7 nos. of cutter suction dredgers and more than 10 nos. of supporting vessels used for filling work.
More than 50 sets of band drain installation plant and hundreds of sets of special equipment including vacuum preloading equipment etc. were deployed for ground improvement work.
