The project is one of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Priority Projects. The coal is imported and delivered to the Plant by ocean going vessel (OGV). The coal from OGV cannot be unloaded to Jetty directly due to shallow water depth of the Jetty. The coal in OGV shall be unloaded and transferred to smaller barges at approved transhipment anchorage area about 7NM to the Jetty and then barges will be towed to the Jetty for unloading. The annual demand of the coal to be imported is designed up to 3.8million ton.
Equipped with 92,000 DWT Post-Panamax size transhipper and other supporting vessels, the Company has been providing the coal transhipment service for the Client.
