The 35.6km-long Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), which crossing though Pearl River Estuary, is a world class cross-sea marine link linking Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao. The company undertook the construction of the part of the seawall of Southern Section of Zhuhai-Macao Port Artificial Island Reclamation. The works included dredging and rock filling.

Shenzhen Airport Extension – Site Formation – Seawall Works, Reclamation and Ground Treatment, Shenzhen, PRC

Seawall Construction:

The works include dredging and rockﬁlling for construction of over 10km sloping seawalls.

A special method – underwater explosive compaction was used to eliminate the water pollution and to decrease the quantity of dredging and disposal of marine mud.

Reclamation and Ground Treatment:
By using sand tube, a 6km temporary seawall was constructed for reclamation. About 50,000sq.m. land was formed by using hydraulic ﬁlling method.
The band drains (PVD) of total 3.66 million liner meter was installed.

Pilot Test Zone:
About 44,000sq.m. land was ﬁlled by using hydraulic ﬁlling method after relevant works including sand blanket, rock ﬁll for temporary embankment, geotextile laying completed.
Various ground treatment measures such as band drain, vibroﬂotation, dynamic compaction and surcharge on the ground etc. had been carried out to obtain useful information for whole project. More than 50 nos. of engineering vessels such as derrick lighters, split hopper barges and 20 nos. of earth work plant, 6 sets of vibroﬂotation plant and 10 sets of band drain installation plant were deployed for the project.

Regulation of Shenzhen RiverPhaseIII – Dredging Work, Shenzhen, PRC

This was a joint venture project between Hong Kong and Shenzhen Governments, total amounting to some 2 billion HK Dollars and lasted over 10 years.
The company involved in this project and removed more than 50,000cu.m contaminated mud from the river bed.

The Grand Canal – Shandong Jining Section – Dredging Work, Jining, PRC

The company has undertaken the dredging works of about 3,000,000 cu.m of soil for regulation and widening of the Grand Canal at Shandong Jining Section.
The regulated canal is about 14.5km in length.
Over 30 vessels including grab dredgers, cutter suction dredgers, digger dredgers and other supporting vessels of various types have been deployed for the project.

Tianjin Binhai Tourism Area – Linhai New Town Reclamation Phase I, Tianjin, PRC

The contract comprised construction of embankment of approximately 9.1km long, hydraulic ﬁlling work of 17.43million cu.m, reclamation of 432 hectares of land and ground improvement work of 4.26million sq.m.
There were 7 nos. of cutter suction dredgers and more than 10 nos. of supporting vessels used for ﬁlling work.
More than 50 sets of band drain installation plant and hundreds of sets of special equipment including vacuum preloading equipment etc. were deployed for ground improvement work.

CSSC Longxue Shipbuilding & Ship Repairing Base, Guangzhou, PRC

The contract comprised dredging works for berthing zone of the wharves, turning basin and harbour basin (sub-channel) at Civil Product Zone.
Total 6,820,000cu.m soils including 370,000cu.m hard clay (Grade 5), 800,000cu.m MDG (Grade 15) and 20,000cu.m pell-mell rocks were dredged and disposed within 9 months construction period.
Over 40 vessels including dredgers and other supporting vessels of various types were deployed for the project.
